These crochet bags are handmade by Wayuu women in Colombia. The colors of the mochilas are inspired by the vivid surrounding region of La Guajira, where sand, sea, desert, sun and a clear sky are constants in the landscape. The time required to elaborate a double-thread Wayuu Mochila varies from 10-15 days. Each Wayuu bag we sell is one-of-a-kind.
